HOPE (Healing Our Planet Everytime) is an Erasmus+ project carried out in cooperation with partner schools from Turkey, Hungary, Portugal, and Romania. The main aim of the project is to raise environmental awareness among students and to promote sustainable living practices by focusing on issues such as climate change, environmental pollution, recycling, and energy and water conservation.
The project targets students aged 14–18 and encourages them to become responsible and environmentally conscious individuals. Within the scope of the project, students take part in various activities such as waste management campaigns, environmental research, workshops, presentations, and international mobility programs. Digital tools and the eTwinning platform are also used to support collaboration among partner schools.
HOPE helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and foreign language skills while increasing their sense of social responsibility. At the same time, teachers benefit from professional development opportunities in environmental education and innovative teaching methods.
At the end of the project, the aim is to establish sustainable environmental practices in schools, strengthen recycling habits, and empower students to become active, informed, and responsible European citizens. By encouraging small individual actions, HOPE seeks to create a positive “butterfly effect” for a greener and more sustainable future.
